 We strive to accommodate school and work schedules the best that we can. Please understand that your longer appointments such as appliance construction, diagnostic record, removal of braces and repair of broken or lost appliances will be scheduled between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm in the Hastings or Grand Island office. Before and after school appointments are reserved for shorter procedures so that school-aged children will miss less class time. We have offices in Holdrege for our patients that live outside of Hastings. Only shorter appointments, such as adjusting the braces, checking retainers and pretreatment observation are done in the Holdrege office.
- New Patient Examination - 30 minutes to one-hour
- Adjustment of Orthodontic Appliances - 15 to 20 minutes
- Pretreatment Observations - 15 minutes
- Retainer Check - 15 minutes
- Repairs - 15 to 45 minutes
- Appliance Construction - 45 to 90 minutes
Please be on time for your scheduled appointments. Late arrivals may be asked to reappoint so the proper time can be devoted to complete their necessary treatment. To help our patients make all of their appointments and stay on their treatment schedule, our computer program, "House Calls¨", calls the night before your appointment to confirm that office visit. Our office also sends out email appointment reminds for those registered with our Orhto Sesame program. You will be notified by e-mail two days prior to your appointment if you register for this service. If a patient misses an appointment it may be weeks before a proper time can be found in the schedule to reappoint them. Numerous missed or cancelled appointments will have a negative affect on how quickly your treatment progresses. If you must change an appointment please give our office at least twenty-four hours notice. |
