Leesa — Appointment Coordinator

Leesa has been part of the Pershing Orthodontic team since 2007. She is in charge of the reception area where she makes appointments and handles communications. Leesa oversees all patient accounts and financial contracts for the office. Along with Julie, she is responsible for new patient consultations. Leesa and her husband Troy have two children, a daughter in elementary school and a son in middle school. In her spare time Lessa loves taking long rides on the motorcycle to see the countryside. When she is not on the motorcycle, she can be found making home improvements and taking a dip in the pool at the end of the day.

Tammy — Assistant Clinic Coordinator

Tammy is originally from Bayard, Nebraska, and graduated from the dental assisting program at Central Community College in Hastings. She joined the Pershing Orthodontic team in 1994. Tammy holds certifications in radiology, CPR and coronal polishing. She is responsible for chair side assisting, fabricating orthodontic appliances and taking diagnostic records.

Marlene — Clinic Coordinator

Marlene is originally from Wilcox, Nebraska. She graduated from the dental assisting program in Central Community College in Hastings, and joined Pershing Orthodontics in 1981. Marlene holds certifications in radiology, coronal polishing and CPR. Marlene is responsible for taking diagnostic records, fabricating orthodontic appliances, clinic supplies and chair side assisting. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, antiques, car shows and spending time with her family.

Jessica — Orthodontic Assistant

Jessica has been a dental assistant with our office since June 2005. She graduated from the dental assisting program at Central Community College in 2002.  She has multiple responsibilities including assisting the doctors chair side with all procedures, taking X-rays, sterilizing instruments and helping answer any questions patients may have regarding their orthodontic treatment. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. You may find her traveling whenever she gets the chance.

Julie — Treatment Coordinator

Julie has been Pershing Orthodontic's treatment coordinator since 1995. As the treatment coordinator, she assists the doctors with patient consultations. That also includes coordination of appointments with other offices and your dentist when necessary. Julie helps our parents with orthodontic insurance filing as well as questions regarding orthodontic appliances, appointments, fees and contracts. You will also find her behind the scenes coordinating school events and community service projects for our office. She is a youth sponsor at First Presbyterian Church as well as volunteering at the High School. Julie and her husband have two teenage daughters and a dog, Chipper. She enjoys long distant running, kickboxing, bowling and scrap booking. You can often find her outdoors enjoying activities with her family.
